Fit! needed full video editing for their subscription-based app. They tasked us with producing over 100+ videos over 10 months the main videos were overview videos of the course and each course had 4 extra ads to promote that course.

This lives on the website that they push all the traffic to for a given program. It should be highly informative and cover most of the information presented on the website, yet be fun and enticing, but not overboard (No need for fancy transitions, or overbearing hype music). Most importantly the sizzle reel needs to SELL! The footage and storylines from this video will inform both the ACQ and RMK ad creatives.

Acquisition Video Ads (ACQ)

Length: 15-20s max
Size: 1024×1280 (4:5), 1080×1920 (9:16)
Variations: At least 2

These videos should use hero shots of the athlete and brief clips from the program, along with 2-3 brief text overlays of high-level explainer statements. These videos meant to be short, attention grabbing and informative enough to get people interested to click through to the landing page.

The first 1 second is key to hook the viewer to get them to stop scrolling through the feed so the visuals should be “thumb-stopping.”
Simon’s ads do a great job of this.

The high-level pitch needs to be shown within the first 5 seconds.
Eg:  “Learn to handstand in 30 days”

Variations should use different video clips if possible so they are unique as possible.

Remarketing Video Ads (RMK)

Length: 20-45s max
Size: 1024×1280 (4:5), 1080×1920 (9:16)

The RMK ads are for people who have already visited the landing page, but have not yet made a purchase. The purpose of these ads are to remind and further educate people on the program with the goal of driving them to return to the landing page and purchase.

 

These ads should focus on education by using clips of the athlete talking to the camera and explaining what the program teaches while showing snippets of the actual program. They should also include subtitles of what the athlete is saying.
